This was easily one of the hardest designs I have ever created. My wife and I met through basketball. She was friends with my best friends and they knew she liked basketball just as much as we did. They decided to invite her to our basketball night, where I instantly started to like her. To make a long story short, she finally said yes to our first date and we quickly fell in love. Some of my favorite memories come from playing basketball with my beautiful wife.

We quickly learned that Mary was a straight up sharpshooter from the three point line. She learned very quickly that we respected her skills and that we treated her the same way as any other skilled player on the court. Over time, I came up with the perfect nickname for her: Dr. Mury, PhD in Buckets.

I started designing this shirt for her one month before we started dating. When I say this was one of the hardest designs I have ever create, I mean it was the hardest design I have ever created. I wanted to make sure everything was perfect. I changed colors, sizing, and positioning over and over again and was never satisfied. I asked friends and colleagues for their input. They always said it was perfect and nothing needed to change. It's amazing how influential our "clients" can be in our work.

Mary sees the beauty in everything. Deep down I knew she would love it; but I spent a month worrying and constantly changing things because I wanted to make the perfect design for the perfect girl. To this day, she still loves to wear the shirt to basketball and I feel so honored!
